Martha Tilaar Group and Pemprov DKI Jakarta Encourage Marunda Flats Community to be Agent of Change
Every company has a responsibility to develope its environment and surrounding through its social programs which embodied through CSR activity. So does Martha Tilaar Group. Through one of its unit bussinesses called PT Martina Berto, Tbk, last Wednesday August, 24, 2016, Martha Tilaar Group invited Veronica Tan, Head of DKI Jakarta PKK Activator, to PT Martina Berto, Tbk office in Pulogadung Industrial Estate, East Jakarta. The visitation of Veronica Tan is not without any purpose but to strengthen the collaboration between the goverment of DKI Jakarta, MEEK Foundation, with Martha Tilaar Group in encouraging community and woman empowering in Marunda flats.
That day, also come the leaders of MEEK Foundation, Tati Gozali, Mieke Kolonas, Diana Bubu, and Monica Tirtadji. MEEK Foundation is a foundation which have concern in social field and focus in improving welfare of the community. Along with them, also come chosen Marunda flats community who expected to be part of agent of change for another residents Marunda flats.
According to Sahabat Martuda untuk Keluarga Indonesia yang Sejahtera (Marunda Fellow for Prosperous Indonesia Family) agenda, all the Marunda flats who are welcomed by Dr.(H.C) Martha Tilaar and Martha Tilaar Group board of director gets so many inspiration and motivation from Dr.(H.C) Martha Tilaar, Lasmi, Leader of Laskar Jamu Gendong Indonesia Association and Amalia Prabowo, a writer who actively promoting woman’s role in family. Not only that, they also experience beauty training from Sariayu and get to know closer how cosmetic industry operating.
