Together with Sariayu, Precious One Deaf Foundation Conducted a Handicraft Training
As part of CSR program, Martha Tilaar Group through one of its cosmetic brands, Sariayu, in collaboration with Precious One Deaf Foundation conducted handicraft training for women in Marunda flats, North Jakarta. Focus in women empowerment, event that held on October 18, 2016, also becoma a part of Be Wonderful Movement that is started since May 2016. Â
Precious One is a deaf foundation that helps the deaf (someone with hearing and communication problem) to get skill training in order to increase their competitiveness in society. In this opportunity, tree member of Precious One gave skill training Thrift to Thing (Bekas Jadi Bagus). By utilize thrift like plactic, Precious One tought all participant to make brooch.Â
This training followed by around 20 housewife and teenagers in Block B, Marunda Flats. They gave such great appreciation to this positive activity and wish that this could be a sustainable activity that Martha Tilaar Group will do in the future.
