PAC Supports the 40th Anniversary of Teater Koma Through Opera Ikan Asin
Teater Koma is one of theatre troupes which has undoubtedly existance among the role art enthusiast in Indonesia. Established since March 1, 1977, until now Teater Koma keep its consictency and productivity in creating their show which always anticipated by their loyal audience. In the beginning of March, Teater Koma has just held Opera Ikan Asin. And like years before, PAC Martha Tilaar keep supporting them as the form of PAC’s consistency in preserving theatre as one part of Indonesia culture.Â

Opera Ikan Asin become one of the role that reshow in order to celebrate Teater Koma 40th anniversary, on March 1, 2017. For that reason too, this show was conducted differenly, it was held at Ciputra Artpreneur Theatre, South Jakarta. Played by around 65 casts, Opera Ikan Asin is adapted by the director, N. Riantiarno, from The Threepenny Opera by Bertolt Brecht.
This three hours satire opera talk about friendship between the king of bandit and police authorities, and it is not a new thing that in Indonesia law can turned to be a transactional thing. Good acting skill of every player combined with 3 months of intensive practice make this performance pretty amusing to watch. More over, with the touch of makeup from PAC Martha Tilaar that has great pigmentation and formulated for character makeup that really suit for stage performance, Opera Ikan Asin sure is one of Teater Koma’s must-watch show.
