Fashion Icon Awards, An Appreciation for Indonesia Fashion Figures
Fashion Icon Awards become the last series of Jakarta Fashion & Food Festival (JFFF) 2017 on Tuesday, April 26 2017. Like years before, Fashion Icon Awards is an annual awarding event that contribute to three Indonesia fashion designers who considered giving the best contribution in fashion world. These designers are Itang Yunasz, Rinaldy A. Yunardi and Baron Manangsang.
Said by Soegianto Nagaria as the Chairman of JFFF 2017that the objectives of Fashion Icon Awards is not only to appreciate designers, but also to give inspurastion for every young generation to keep their creativity in order to develop Indonesia fashion world. “This also become our main trigger of JFFF consistency in giving an award for Indonesia best fashion figue,†he says on his press conference at Harris Hotel Kelapa Gading.
In Fashion Icon Awards 2017, Itang Yunasz awarded for Fashion Designer category, Rinaldy A. Yunardi for Fashion Industry and Support category, meanwhile Baron Manansang awarded for Lifetime Achievement category. These three fashion figure chosen based on consideration and judgment from judges who knowns with their credibility in fashion industry. One of the judges is Dr.(H.C) Martha Tilaar as the Founder of Martha Tilaar Group.Â
