Identic with Indonesia, Ministry of Foreign Affair Choose Sariayu to Collaborate
This 2017, Indonesia Ministry of Foreign Affair held Indonesia-ASEAN Young Ambassador. The objective of this election is to search for Indonesia boys and girls who has good knowledge of ASEAN and regional development, in order to promote ASEAN to Indonesian people, especially its young generation.
On its execution, this year Ministry of Foreign Affair invites Sariayu Martha Tilaar to participate as provisioning partner to Duta Muda ASEAN 2017 candidates. Not without reasin to ministry when choosing Sariayu to become a partner. Long history of Sariayu and its background which really identic with Indonesia identity and culture made it as a real implementation of unity in diversity.
“This positive event is a great synergy between Sariayu as Indonesia local product with millenial generation as Indonesia front guard in ASEAN. By involving these millenial generation to be young ambassador, sure this awareness will spread faster and comprehensible to young generation,” says Wulan Tilaar, Vice Chairwoman of Martha Tilaar group who chosen to be one of judges of Indonesia-ASEAN Young Ambassador with Jose Tavares (General Director of ASEAN Cooperation), Reza Rahardian (UNDP Indonesia SDGs Mover), Najwa Shihab (News Presenter), and Tyovan Widagdo (CEO BAHASO, Forbes 30 Under 30).
To support ASEAN Young Ambassador 2017, Sariayu also give ethics and makeup debriefing to 50 ASEAN Young Ambassador 2017 who represent 30 provinces of Indonesia. Not just to beautify and prepare best appearance to all candidates, Sariayu also expect that this event could inspire them to feel more proud to local products and work, as part of intellectual wealth to stregthen Indonesia identity in global world, especially ASEAN.
