Puspita Martha Gives Scholarship to SMK Students
In order to commemorate National Education Day, May 2, Puspita Martha International International Beauty School supports National XXVI Level of SMK Student Skill Competition that held by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia. This Student Skill Competition – Lomba Keterampilan Siswa (LKS) is a competency competition for SMK students, to measure their knowledge and understanding through practical work and competency standard, so they can compete in real industry world.
LKS SMK National Level is followed by students from Indonesia provinces, from 16-21 years old and held on 6-12 May, 2018, in Lombok City Center, West Nusa Tenggara. There are more than 50 work field that being competed in the LKS, two of it are Ladies and Men’s Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy. Puspita Martha as one of formal beauty institutions in Indonesia gives scholarship worth 90 million rupiah to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd winners in those fields. Not only appreciate their achievent with scholarship, the winners will also get the opportunity to represent Indonesia in International World Skill Competition (IWSC).  Â
Related to it, Puspita Martha will send their team to be judges in IWSC 2019 in Russia, they are Rukmiwati in Hairdressing, Rita Handayani and Tutut Ageng Kardiyanti in Beauty Therapy. These Puspita Martha Srikandi who happen to be take role as judges in LKS SMK 2018 will participate in IWSC 2019 with 3 winners of ASEAN Skill Competition and LKS 2017 winners. “We hope that National LKS SMK will create creative and innovative young generations who will bring great achievement for Indonesia,†said Rita.Â
