GMS of PT Martina Berto Tbk
Running the obligation as public company, PT Martina Berto Tbk has held its General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) book year 2017 at the end of May (28/05). This GMS that held in PT Martina Berto Tbk office and attended by the majority of shareholders led by Board of Directors, Bryan Tilaar (President Director), Kunto Widarto (Production Director), Tjan Hong Tjhiang (Independent Commisioner), and Iwan Herwanto (Finance Director).
As quoted from GMS annual report, the economic growth in 2017 doesn’t match with government expectation. This unexpected growth caused by the decline of household consumption growth. In the middle of weakening condition of Indonesia purchasing power and intense competition in cosmetic industry, the Board of Directors are supervise the implementation of strategy and policy in order to protect market share of the company and risks that taken to achieve target. Even so, Board of Commisioners still see good prospect in cosmetic industry. “With number of productive age and middle class women, Indonesia still have good potency for body care and cosmetic industry,†said PT Martina Berto Tbk’s Board of Commisioners.
