PT MARTINA BERTO TBK TO SUPPORTS BPOM SAFE COSMETIC CARE CAMPAIGN
In order to give protection to customers and raise the awareness of danger cosmetic and traditional medicine in the market, Monday (11/12) Food and Medicine Supervisory Board or called Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) held Aksi Peduli Kosmetik Aman dan Obat Traditional Bebas Bahan Kimia –Safe Cosmetic and Chemical-Free Traditional Medicine Care Campaign– at Balai Kartini, Jakarta. So many parties are support this action, including PT Martina Berto Tbk, one of Martha Tilaar Group’s unit businesses.
As one of local cosmetic pioneers, PT Martina Berto Tbk is strongly support tnis event, especially because since the very beginning until today Dr. Martha Tilaar and her team constantly committed to only create and develop safe to use natural-based cosmetics and skin care. Not only natural-based, PT Martina Berto Tbk’s products like Sariayu, Dewi Sri Spa, Biokos, and many more are produced through efficacy test done by expertice team in Martha Tilaar.

Admitted by her, BPOM will always run on of their functions as a regulator to protect the quality of food and medicine, including cosmetic, from raw materials to finished products in the market. Two main agendas of that day are BPOM released public warning againts 26 cosmetics which contain danger ingredients and 39 traditional medicine that contain chemical, the lauch of BPOM Traditional Medicine Public Warning application, and Safe Cosmetic Care signing done by Head BPOM and her staff, association representative, business doers, and brand ambassadors.
