MARTHA TILAAR GROUP, TOURISM MINISTRY OFFICIALLY COLLABORATING AT WONDERFUL INDONESIA CO-BRANDING FORUM (WICF)

Martha Tilaar Group represented by one of its units, PT Cantika Puspa Pesona, has officially signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) during the Wonderful Indonesia Co-Branding Forum (WICF), which was initiated by Tourism Ministry at Gedung Sapta Pesona, Jakarta on August 10, 2017. The main purpose of WICF is to strengthen the branding of Wonderful Indonesia (WI) and Pesona Indonesia (PI) through collaboration with local brands, including Martha Tilaar Group. The collaboration aim success in pursuing target of 20 million foreign tourists in 2019. Director of C.Com., CSR, System & Procedure of Martha Tilaar Group, Samuel Pranata, became the representative to sign the MoU.

“Co-branding partnership will create intensive collaboration between Wonderful Indonesia and Indonesia’s local brands. We are looking forward to an active participation from the brands in promoting national tourism sector to a bigger market,” Tourism Minister, Dr. Ir. Arief Yahya, M.Sc. said. Martha Tilaar Group have collaborated with Tourism Ministry though Sariayu Martha Tilaar. Wonderful Indonesia’s logo has exists in the packaging of Sariayu Color Trend 2017 Inspirasi Gili Lombok. Mandalika, a tourism area in West Nusa Tenggara, is one of the top 10 destinations which prioritized by Tourism Ministry.

Founder and Chairwoman of Martha Tilaar Group, Dr. (H.C.) Martha Tilaar was invited as a speaker for “Sharing Resources for Branding Campaign Effectiveness” along with 27 CEOs from the companies that also signed the MoU. Martha Tilaar Group gives a certificate from World of Records Museum Indonesia (MURI) as a form of appreciation for Tourism Ministry. The new record was created last April in Bali by using 2.583 cosmetics from 300 different types of products from Martha Tilaar Group to form a sentence “Beautifying Indonesia for Wonderful Indonesia”.
