Martha Tilaar Group Support for Indonesia Fashion Week 2014

Having the same mission with Indonesia Fashion Week to push local industry and preserve Indonesia culture, Martha Tilaar Group is again, involved in the biggest fashion movement, Indonesia Fashion Week. Supporting Indonesia Fashion Week 2014, Martha Tilaar Group through one of its decorative brand which is Sariayu Martha Tilaar trusted to be the official makeup and hair do. Using the latest color trend collection, Sariayu Colour Trend 2014 Inspirasi Borneo, makeup artists from Puspita Martha International Beauty School beautified 800 models for four days of Indonesia Fashion Week 2014.


“Fashion and beauty can not be separated, they support each other. Sariayu Martha Tilaar concern about the progress of Indonesia fashion, and through Indonesia Fashion Week 2014 hopefully Indonesian people will give more support local brand, local fashion, and local event, so local industry can grow even more,” says Wulan Tilaar, Vice Chairwoman of Martha Tilaar Group.

Held for four days since February 20-23, 2014, at Jakarta Convention Center, Indonesia Fashion Week supported by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Industry, and Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises. Indonesia Fashion Week 2014 presented so many fashion activities, from fashion show, exhibition, seminar, workshop, to talkshow.

Dozens of Indonesia fashion designers like Deden Siswanto, Priyo Oktaviano, Lenny Agustin, Ali Charisma, Sapto Djojokartiko, Dian Pelangi, Asri Welas. Mubal Arum, Zainal Songket, Maia, and many more, participated to festive Indonesia Fashion Week 2014 runway and indulge all fashion enthusiast in Indonesia. Not only local designer, there were also some international fashion designer who held their fashion show in Indonesia Fashion Week 2014 like Steven Tach (Jepang), Said Mahrouf (Morocco), and Gabriel Lage (Argentina).
