The General Meeting of Shareholders Book Year 2013 of PT Martina Berto Tbk

As a form of responsibility to the company’s shareholders, Tuesday, June 17, 2014, PT Martina Berto Tbk held an General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) and General Meeting of Extraordinary Shareholders (GMES). GMS and GMES reported accounting book that has ended on December 31, 3013. On this annual meeting, the director of the company report the performance of PT Martina Berto Tbk in 2013 that has quite good result like improved current ratio and raised up by 413%, debt decreased significantly by 34,7%, and improved deb to asset so in the first quarter of 2014 declined by 25,7%.

Even though the revenue attainment and net income less encouraging, but PT Martina Berto Tbk still optimist and be positive can facing the business competition. Like Bryan Tilaar the President Director of PT Martina Berto Tbk said, “PT Martina Berto Tbk optimist to achieve the sales target in 2014 with 910% growth from the previous year.”  

This optimisms will be manifested by taking some strategic steps, one of it by launching some innovative latest products that accepted by the society. Like what has been launched before and get positive response from the society was the launching product of Sariayu Color Trend 2014 Inspirasi Borneo and Sariayu Hijab Hair Care. The launching of the products already gives a significant contribution to PT Martina Berto Tbk’s profit.

At the press conference that held right after the GMS and GMES also explained about 135 billion business profit that based on the plan will be utilized for the corporate progress, 75 billion will be utilized for factory building in Cikarang, machine expansion and machine renewal, and 60 billion for venture capital. Said by Handiwidjaja as the Finance Director of PT Martina Berto Tbk, the budget of venture capital also will be utilized to support the joint venture that will be developed by PT Martina Berto Tbk and associate company. “To catch the good opportunity in cosmetic business development and to support the needs of customer and production demand, joint venture in cotton sector become one of the ways that we already take,” he said.
