PT Martina Berto, Tbk Signed MoU with Surya University
As a follow up to the agreement that has been discussed since 2013 between Martha Tilaar Innovation Center (MTBI) and Surya University to do a research together towards aromatic, cosmetic, and medicinal plants, Tuesday, June 3, 2014, PT Martina Berto, Tbk eventually signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Surya University. Surya University is a research based university in Indonesia founded by Prof. Yohanes Surya, Ph.D.
“It’s an honor for us to collaborate side by side with PT Martina Berto, Tbk that is one of the biggest cosmetic companies in Indonesia. As the first research based university in Indonesia, we believe that a country can be further developed and advanced through a research,†said Prof. Yohanes Surya, Ph.D.
Admits by Dr. (H.C) Martha Tilaar who also came that day, it’s a commitment of PT Martina Berto, Tbk to involve to develop Indonesia natural resources potency through technology and research. “Hopefully this collaboration can encourage another researcher to develop innovative and beneficial research from Indonesia resources in environmental friendly way,†said the founder of PT Martina Berto Tbk.
The signing agenda was done at Surya University, Serpong, by Samuel Pranata, Marketing Director of PT Martina Berto, Tbk with Prof. Yohanes Surya, Ph.D., and witnessed by Dr. (H.C) Martha Tilaar and board of direction of PT Martina Berto, Tbk, teachers and researcher from Surya University. After signing the MoU. Dr. (H.C) Martha Tilaar shares her experiences how she builds her business for the first time until she becomes a successful beautypreneur.
