Apresiasi Inspirasi Indonesia 2014 for Dr. Martha Tilaar
Apresiasi Inspirasi Indonesia 2014 – Indonesian Inspiration Appreciation 2014 – was held by Koran Sindo last Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at the Ballroom of Mulia Hotel Senayan, Jakarta. This appreciation was given to 11 figures that inspiring other people in order to build the nation. One of the eleven figures is Dr. Martha Tilaar as the founder of Martha Tilaar Group.
With another 10 inspiring figures, like Rio Haryanto (Indonesian racer who brought Indonesia to international racing), Derajat Ginanjar (the founder of Rumah Cemara for ODHA and AIDS activist), and Cjaeruddin (green activist for Pesanggrahan river), Dr. Martha Tilaar received this appreciation. The reason why she deserves this appreciation is because of her effort in preserving Indonesia’s culture wisdom and natural resources through high quality of local cosmetics.
On her short speech, Dr. Martha Tilaar expressed her gratitude that her work can give inspiration to Indonesian people and said her thanks to Koran Sindo. She also hopes, there will be more great people who can give inspiration to build this country in the future.
