Nu Skin Invites German-Indonesian Participants to Visit Kampoeng Djamoe Organics
Last Thursday (12/26), Nu Skin Indonesia brought a group of participants from the German-Indonesian Interchange Program to visit Kampoeng Djamoe Organik (KaDO), Cikarang. For Nu Skin Indonesia with 650 species of medicinal plants and cosmetics, KaDO is a good place to study the richness of Indonesian plants. Not only that, but KaDO is also a means of connecting for farmers to continue production of their crops and enjoyed by farmers themselves, this is in line with Nu Skin's vision and mission.
During the visit, the participants did a garden visit, saw all the plant collections, looked at the post-harvest place to the composting process. Besides, the participants were also invited to tour the Martha Tilaar Training Center to see firsthand the original Indonesian spa training which has now empowered more than 6000 therapists from all over Indonesia. After walking around, participants consisting of German-Indonesian students saw firsthand the process of making herbal juice, ice cream derived from beras kencur, practicing making boreh, and following the beauty class using Sariayu products. This series of activities were carried out to increase the participants' love for Indonesia's wealth.
