Company Regeneration, Martha Tilaar Group to Appoint New CEO

On Monday (27/07), Martha Tilaar Group has entered its new phase. After nine years led by Handiwidjaja, now Kilala Tilaar has officially appointed as the new CEO of Martha Tilaar Group by Dr. (H.C) Martha Tilaar. This appointment based on some of the considerations, one of the reasons is because Kilala considered has successfully lead Martha Tilaar Group’s unit business, PT Cedefindo. His new role to lead the company is also the real manifestation of company regeneration as one of the business trategies to be more competitive in this rapid era.

“Through this regeneration, we hope that Martha Tilaar Group will be more enthusiast to face any challenge. We also hope that Kilala will be a good leader who capable to see market potential and able to apply strategic business well,” said Handiwidjaja as he gave a speech on the inauguration day. Dr. Martha who also attended the event also hopes that Kilala will bring good impact and improvement to the company and the employees. “ I hope he becomes a leader who implements DJITU concept, a firmed yet wise and humble leader. Last but not least, be a leader who can listen to ideas and insights from others,” said Dr. Martha.

In his inauguration day, Kilala conveys four strategies to be applied to his leadership, adaptation, synergy, efficiency, and commitment. He expects adaptation will make the company be more focused to catch opportunities and manage the market potential, especially in this pandemic, meanwhile, synergy is expected to add a competitive advantage for all unit businesses. “Martha Tilaar Group’s unit businesses should be able to support one to another so we could get evenly benefits and profit,” said Kilala. He also thinks that organization and procedure efficiency will increase and optimize competitiveness, meanwhile, company commitment will strengthen the company. “Planning, execution, and evaluation are the commitments we should always hold in our work ethic,” he continued.

Martha Tialar Group hopes that the leadership estafet handover to Kilala will give a new spirit to all the stakeholder and employees.
