At the beginning of April, some natural disasters, from windstorms, floods, to landslides hit East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) province. According to National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) report, there were 20 districts and cities that were affected by the disasters which caused hundreds of citizens to die, be injured, and be lost. NDMA also reported many public infrastructures and hundreds of residents are damaged from light to heavy scale.

Moved by the suffering of our brothers and sisters in NTT, Martha Tilaar Group, through the community and employee organizations, such as Islamic Spiritual community, Christian-Catholic Prayer community, Cooperation and Unions, that coordinated by the Sustainability and HR division, are initiatively raising a humanitarian work.

“I fully appreciate and support this initiative. To support this fundraising, our management also exclusively produces some health products that might be needed in NTT, such as hand gel and floor cleaner. We hope donation from Martha Tilaar Group will be accepted by the victims of the natural disasters in NTT. We pray East Nusa Tenggara will be recovery and resurgent soon,” said Kilala Tilaar, the CEO Of Martha Tilaar Group.

Total healthy products and funds that deposited around Rp100 million were given to Tunas Muda Indonesia Foundation and directly received by the advisor, Mindriyati Astiningsih, so that the donation will be distributed to the victims. The handover of the donation was done at Griya Cipta Wanita hall in Martha Tilaar Berto, Tbk on Friday, April 23, 2021.

On that occasion, the Founder & Chairman of Martha Tilaar Group, Dr. (H.C) Martha Tilaar express her appreciation to Tunas Muda Indonesia Foundation, who constantly do humanitarian work to help others who suffer from the disasters.
