Jakarta (20/9) - PT Martina Berto Tbk (MBTO) has once again established a distribution cooperation with PT Tigaraksa Satria Tbk (TGKA), if previously the cooperation was for the distribution of Modern Key Accounts, this time the two large national-scale companies signed a cooperation agreement for the distribution of Local Modern Trade (LMT).

In this collaboration, selected and quality products from MBTO (a subsidiary of Martha Tilaar Group), namely Sariayu, Rudy Hadisuwarno Cosmetics, Mirabella, and Biokos will be distributed to TGKA's Local Modern Trade network spread throughout Indonesia. With TGKA's wide distribution network and reach, MBTO is optimistic that its products can be evenly and better distributed from Aceh to Papua in line with the growth and expansion of Local Modern Trade outlets reaching small cities throughout Indonesia. In addition, with the advantages possessed by TGKA in supply chain management systems, inventory control and sales data that are well integrated online starting from the Central Warehouse, Branch Warehouse to the target outlet, MBTO hopes to monitor the distribution of its products more closely, better and get more comprehensive, real time and accurate data.

The signing of the cooperation agreement was carried out by Lianne Widjaja as President Director of TGKA and Kilala Tilaar, CEO of Martha Tilaar Group, in mid-September.

With this distribution partnership, MBTO targets a 6.5% greater business growth specifically for the LMT channel compared to last year. At the initial stage, the strategic cooperation between MBTO and TGKA will last for 2 years, with business potential for Modern Key Account Trade and Local Modern Trade worth IDR 121 billion annually.

“PT Tigaraksa Satria Tbk has decades of experience in the distribution sector. Their big names and experience convinced us to re-establish this collaboration. With good distribution management, national coverage that is even up to 100% on Local Modern Trade Channels, we hope that our products can be distributed more widely and evenly so that they can be more easily obtained by consumers throughout Indonesia," explained Kilala Tilaar, CEO Martha Tilaar Group.

Kilala is optimistic that the collaboration with TGKA can be integrated into a positive force that can be useful and able to strengthen the growth and development of their respective businesses, especially since both companies are known to have value & selling points coupled with decades of history and experience.
