Today, the First Tree Planting at New Kampoeng Djamoe Organic Martha Tilaar Sukabumi

On Tuesday, 22 Maret, 2022, was held the first tree planting at the New Kampoeng Djamoe Organik (KaDO) Martha Tilaar. In October 2021, Kampoeng Djamoe Organik in Cikarang was closed but as our effort to increase the quality of the garden, we moved KaDO to a better area with more fertile soil, Parung Kuda, Sukabumi, West Java.
This symbolically planting is a rolling sign of the development of New KaDO as a land area that will be utilized as a nursery place for Aromatic Cosmetics and Medicinal Plants and as an environmental education center, especially for Indonesian native’s medicinal plants. New KaDO is expected to be a better place to support the nursery and research for KaDO and Martha Tilaar Innovation Center (MTIC) team. The New KaDO is also expected to be a green and comfortable recreation center.
The tree planting was done by DR (H.C.) Martha Tilaar, Bambang Handana, and Bryan Tilaar as the board of directors at Martha Tilaar Group, and accompanied by the KaDO team. “We expect that KaDO will become a place that brings benefits to our environment, beauty industry, and also to the community around it. I believe, all good things we do for nature will bring good effects for our lives,” said DR. Martha.
