As the implementation of Beauty Green, Martha Tilaar Group Participated in BPOM Zero Carbon Programme

Jakarta (31/10) – Since the beginning, Martha Tilaar Group was founded and operated above four company pillars, which are Beauty Culture, Beauty Green, Beauty Education, and Empowering Women. To take notice in culture, environment, education and women empowerment, these are the cornerstone in all Martha Tilaar Group activities, internally or collaboration with external parties. Including when Martha Tilaar Group through Perkosmi participated in BPOM Zero Carbon Programme.

Has an environment conservation aspect in it, Net Zero Carbon Programme is a program innitiated by BPOM that aim to embody net zero carbon in Indonesia, by planting mangrove seedlings in several locations, more precisely in two locations at Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta. The first planting held simbolically in Angke Kapuk Natural Tourist Park –here the President Director of PT Martina Berto Tbk, Bryan Tilaar, attended the event as the representative of the company to plant mangrove seed. Another mangrove seedlings planting held at Pantai Indah Kapuk Ecotourism area. In total, there are 16.160 mangrove seedlings will be planted as the donation proceeds from the companies under the Perkosmi.

Martha Tilaar Group hopes that the participation of the company in mangrove seedlings planting will be a part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) which will contribute to the increasing of natural ecosystem quality, especially around the area, and protect it from natural damage.
